While Defense Acquisition University 9DAU) allows anyone to access its courses, only priority and approved personnel gain credit for its classes. This slows down the training of acquisition recruits, costing taxpayers' money.
Allow EVERYONE to gain credit for DAU classes. This gives the opportunity for college students and the unemployed to train before being hired, speeding up training. By the time they are recruited, they can be DAWIA I or II certified. This will save time and money for the federal government.
Once new individuals are recruited into the federal contracts workforce, have them pass a simple test AND show printed certificates from completed courses. This ensures a speedy transition from uncredited to credit coursework.
