Design and market a speedometer for vehicles of all kinds, based on the fraction of the speed of light at which the vehicle is moving. Or persuade the private market to do it. An aftermarket add-on could be popular among car enthusiasts, and it could be introduced as an item in the luxury car and electric car markets. At first, prototypes could be simply scaled ordinary speedometers based on wheel rotation rates. ...more »

Human energy and resources should be focused on force fields akin to the priority of the Manhattan project of WWII.
Dear Sir, Please don't blow off as another crackpot with fears of the macro to avoid the micro. There is a new technology the laws have not caught up with that I feel could be used originally by those of the underground but without the knowledge that they were really being manipulated by a foreign governments attempt to hurt the US. One would have to know the technology to know that I was referring to so if you would ...more »

DoD needs to go green and save a bundle of money in the process. Such a huge agency moving away from Outlook and desktop-based software and communications will enable centralized customer support and... SIMPLIFY THE SYSTEM.
There are other things that could be tied in, like MilBook and MilWiki...but adoption will be limited until cloud computing is the norm! Make the switch soon!
Please refer to my web site: http://yankeedreamer.org/battle_act_intel_xport.htm I'm a retired Air Force Master Sergeant, with experience in weapons testing and electronics. I would like to contribute my ideas, to support our troops. Two areas where I feel that the Army/Marines could improve on are psychological and unconventional warfare. Revive World War II Tactics that were use prior to the Normandy, namely fake ...more »
I wonder what the cost benefit analysis would say about a compensation package that eliminated the 20 year retirement but paid soldiers a competitive wage. My understanding is that a soldier of 20 years receives 50 percent of his pay for life. So a 38 year old E-6 with 20 years would earn 1700 a month. Assuming this is true and the everage lifespan is 72 the E-6 would earn 694000 over the next 34 years. Might it be better ...more »
Topic Focus: Title 10 & Title 50 funds related to IT technical solutions. Collaboration and communications tools are agency/service agnostic. When pots of money for the same needs are split between decision makers in two or more organizations, you're more than likely to have a mess on your hands. Perhaps this is why we have different intelligence agencies not on the same page--our tool sets aren't designed to facilitate ...more »

I am not a chemist, but could you make a hat for the war zone press corps that could fluoresce when hit by a laser sight? They'd be hard to duplicate. You could make a pattern to verify the authenticity. They would help decrease errors.
Remember in Desert Storm, we had to mark our vehicles so we wouldn't shoot each other?
Have a good day.
